The Early Days

In July 1934, a group of 24 charter members formed the Independant Full Gospel Church under the name of, "Full Gospel Tabernacle"

By November of the same year, the brand new church building was dedicated to the work of the Lord.

By 1939 this very young but "very strong" church joined fellowship with the Pentecostal Church of God who's headquarters are in Joplin, Missouri, making Full Gospel Tabernacle the first Pentecostal Church of God in the state and district of Arkansas.

Just like in the early days, there is still a great move of God's Spirit experienced at Gospel Lighthouse Church, and the same tradition still holds true:

"The people still have a mind to work."

The Campus of Gospel Lighthouse Church is located at 310 Lilly Street in Blytheville, AR. GLC's current facilities, including sanctuary, Youth Center, Children's Church, full Kitchen, and Education & Administration buildings are housed in over 18,000 square feet.

Gospel Lighthouse is a church that has seen many changes come and go in the Region of the Delta, and God has graced this church with the favor to minister to the many needs locally and abroad.
